Watch as our student government is coming into action!
Getting the year ready with your student government! As two of our 9th grade officers Vivienne Marcott and Marley Tuatagaloa work together to make our video announcements they edit our videos to make them fun, exciting, and to get information out for the students at South. Vivienne states “Being able to make a difference for our school,” is a reason why she joined student government and is one of her favorite parts. And we can’t forget Marley who says “I like representing the South and just being with others in student government.” There's so much that you don’t see with what our student government does to our school. Every 4th period on B days, the SBO’s and the ninth grade officers come together. Supervisor Mrs.Denoyer and Mrs.Judd runs student government and helps out with making videos and guiding all the student government. “South for Santa is my busiest time of the year, but it is also one of my favorite and most rewarding. It is amazing to see our entire school community come together to raise money and support families in our local community. It takes a lot of work, but seeing teachers, students, and officers all work together as one team makes it so worthwhile. South for Santa truly shows what it means to be “All Together, Spartans Forever.” They help set up our sport games, pick up trash, make videos, and just hang out. Currently they are working on coming up with more spirit days and how to make our school a better place.
