Unity Day

Mark your calendars! Wednesday, October 21st is Unity Day, and South Ogden Junior High is going ALL IN to make a bold statement against bullying!

What is Unity Day?

Created by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center, Unity Day is a nationwide movement designed to show that no student should ever stand alone. It’s a day for schools, families, and communities to link together to promote kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.

When we stand together, no one stands alone!

Why Orange?

Orange is vibrant, warm, and hard to miss. It's a universal color for safety and visibility, sending a clear message: bullying is not a rite of passage, and every student deserves to feel safe and respected at school.

How We Are Representing at South Ogden Junior High ⚔️

Here is how our Spartan family is taking action on October 21st:

Wear Orange: Show your true colors! Wear an orange shirt, hoodie, socks, hat, or accessory. Let's fill our halls with a sea of orange to show our solidarity.

📝 Sign the Unity Banner: Stop by our "Unite Against Bullying" table during lunch to sign the banner and pledge to keep our school a safe, welcoming place for everyone.

🔗 Project Connect Chain: We will be building giant paper link chains in our classrooms. Each student will write a personal message of kindness, unique strength, or anti-bullying message on an orange strip. We’ll connect all the links together to display in our hallways—proving that while one voice is strong, our united message is unstoppable!

Let’s show everyone what Spartan Pride is all about. Put on your orange on October 21st, bring your positivity, and let's stand united! 🧡💪
