Spartans, we have some exciting news to celebrate!
One of our very own South Ogden Junior High teachers, Mrs. Angie Holtry, has been named a recipient of the Weber School District “I Love Teaching” Award. This special honor is given to teachers who go above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of students — and anyone who has been in Mrs. Holtry’s classroom knows just how deserving she is of this recognition.
Why Mrs. Holtry?
Mrs. Holtry is more than a math teacher — she is a Spartan champion for her students. She works hard every day to make sure students feel supported, confident, and capable of success. Her classroom is a place where students are encouraged to take risks, ask questions, and believe in themselves.
Students often say that Mrs. Holtry truly cares about them — not just about their grades, but about who they are as people. That kind of connection is what makes learning meaningful and what makes South Ogden Junior High such a special place.
A Win for Our Whole School
This award isn’t just a win for Mrs. Holtry — it’s a win for all of us at SOJH. It reflects the heart of our school and the amazing relationships our teachers build with students every day. We are proud to have teachers who represent what it means to be a Spartan: strong, kind, hardworking, and supportive of one another.
Congratulations, Mrs. Holtry!
We are so proud of Mrs. Holtry for this well-deserved honor. Thank you for inspiring our students, lifting up our Spartan community, and showing what it means to truly love teaching.
Way to go, Mrs. Holtry — and way to go, Spartans!
