South Ogden Junior High's aspiring artists are facing a creative challenge. The Pugmill, has been condemned for safety reasons, putting a stop to the essential process of recycling clay. Without this crucial piece of equipment, the department faces significant material costs, which can hinder students from fully exploring their artistic potential. This fundraiser is a vital step toward ensuring our students have the tools they need to continue creating, innovating, and bringing their imaginations to life in the classroom.

We are launching a fundraising campaign to acquire a new Pugmill, with a goal of raising $8,200 to have the equipment in place by the 2025 school year. This investment will not only replace a condemned machine but also serve as a sustainable solution, allowing the department to recycle used clay and dramatically cut material costs. The ability to reclaim and reuse clay is especially important for our students, as it allows them to learn from their mistakes without the fear of wasting materials. This freedom to experiment is essential for artistic growth. Every dollar donated directly supports our young artists, enabling them to work with an abundance of materials and focus on what matters most: their art. Join us in making a lasting impact on our art program and empowering the next generation of creators.
