Helping Homeless Students in LA

Hello Parents and Students,

One of our wonderful English teachers, Kim Irvine, shared the horrific situation in LA and at her daughter's school in particular. It's brutal. They have over 60 students whose homes burned down and over 18 faculty members who also lost everything. Our amazing Mr. Porter jumped right into action and had cinch sacks, t-shirts, and lip balm donated and ready to go. (He truly is an inspiration!)

Supplies

Now we are looking for a way to get these wonderful, desperately needed items to Jessica's school in Pasadena just outside of LA. (Blair School) We are hoping to find a volunteer who could transport our heartfelt donations and deliver them to the school. (It's 5 medium sized boxes) If you are willing and able to help us out, please reach out to Mrs. Irvine. If that is not a possibility for you, keep reading. We could still use your help.

Blair School amazon wish list

We are looking for anything you feel you could donate. Mostly hygiene products like shampoo, toothpaste, etc. Jessica's school is unique because they are not in an affluent neighborhood. Her community is more humble and unfortunately, they are not receiving the benefits that many are. Most of her students who lost their homes are staying with family or friends--no hotels or housing vouchers here. So they are desperate for basic necessities. Reach out to Mrs. Irvine if you have supplies to help.
